OMG *clings to teh internet*
So, I have some good news and some bad news...

+ The good news is that the computer guy (a friend of a friend) was able to save a good chunk of the files I had on my damaged HD.

- The bad news is that said HD is totally and utterly dead.

+ The good news is that computer guy offered to assemble a brand new comp for me. :-)

- The bad news is that I don't have the money to pay it right now. :-(

+ The good news is that - since comp!guy is a sort of friend - he told me I can pay it in a bunch of installments (hopefully evil!boss will give me something soon...*prays*)

- The bad news is that I'll have to re-install everything I had on my old comp (Photoshop brushes!! *cries*)...plus, I lost all my internet bookmarks. :|

+ The good news is that at least I have my email address book and folders. I would have seriously killed myself without it.

In conclusion, I'll hopefully have a new computer by this afternoon/evening, I'll transfer all the "rescued" files into my brand new 500 Gb external HD, I'll beg you guys to send me the stuff I definitely lost, and then I'll start the big "operation re-install"...:-)


I'll try my best to reply to your oh-so-kind comments and to catch up with all the stuff I missed during the weekend (Pride! New Gale pics!), but I don't know if I'll be able to do it properly... sorry about that! *sighs*
